Balancing Work & Life
“Most bodies are either stressed or depressed. Balance is releasing unnecessary tension in the body, while finding a sense of physical expansion and ease, allowing one to be grounded and energized.”

Workshops & Single Classes
A focused session for a moment that matters
Sometimes a single class is exactly what your team needs. A workshop works well as part of a wellness week, a team-building day, a staff retreat, or a lunch-and-learn, and it gives your people a meaningful, hands-on introduction to what yoga can do for them at work.
Workshops can be built around a theme that fits your workplace: releasing desk-related tension in the neck, shoulders and upper back; breathwork for stress and focus; or simple movement people can bring back to their desks the same afternoon. No mats, workout clothes or prior experience are needed for most sessions, and every class includes clear cueing and modifications so everyone can take part.
It's also a low-commitment way to see how your team responds before exploring ongoing classes.
Ideal for: wellness events, retreats, conferences, team-building days and first introductions to workplace yoga..
Ongoing Classes
A practice that grows with your team
The real benefits of yoga come from consistency. With ongoing classes, your team works with the same instructor on a weekly basis, and that relationship makes a difference. Over time, we get to know your people: their comfort levels, their physical limitations, the tension they carry from long days at a desk, and where they're ready to be challenged.
Classes are built around your team, not a generic routine. Beginners get a steady, supportive foundation, and more experienced participants find room to progress. As the group develops, classes can evolve from gentle, chair-based movement toward fuller flow and strength-building practices.
The result is more than a perk on a benefits list. It's a shared routine that supports stress reduction, sharper focus and a stronger sense of connection across your team, one that people come to rely on as part of their work week.
Ideal for: organizations looking for a lasting investment in employee wellbeing and company culture.
Online Classes
Bring the whole team together, wherever they work
Today's teams don't always share an office. Between work-from-home schedules, flex hours and staff spread across locations, it can be hard to offer something everyone can take part in. Live online classes solve that.
Classes are taught live over video, so participants still get real-time cueing, modifications and a sense of practicing together, not a pre-recorded video they watch alone. Team members can join from home, a satellite office, a boardroom or a job site, and there's no cap on attendance.
For hybrid and remote teams, a regular online class can be one of the few shared experiences that brings everyone together, building connection and morale among colleagues who may rarely see each other in person.
Ideal for: remote, hybrid and multi-location teams, and organizations with staff outside Winnipeg.
Logistical Considerations
-
We believe that consistency is key when creating space for a yoga practice. We recommend a weekly class offering, which allows your people to develop their practice and incorporate the gains into their daily lives. For companies with a larger workforce, twice weekly may be a better option to accommodate schedules. Bi-weekly or monthly classes are also available.
-
In person: Works well for traditional workplaces where employees are all in a single location and have an available space to be used as a studio. (For chair yoga classes, this may simply be a conference room). The capacity of the designated onsite studio limits attendance. The in-person option is only available in Winnipeg.
Online: Preferred for the modern work environment that incorporates work from home and flex hours - this is a great way to include all employees. There is no attendance cap for these classes.
-
Standard lengths are 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Typically, we find that 30 minutes is adequate for a chair yoga class and that 45 or 60 is better for gentle flow and vinyasa. We will work with you to find the best length of class for your team.
Experience Rooted in Storytelling
Dyad Yoga was created by a yogi/actor, classically trained in the art of storytelling for the stage. Through that training, she learned awareness of her own body and how to observe and provide feedback to others regarding their body mechanics. As a theater artist who is passionate about their craft, she found herself working in corporate settings to make ends meet. Those office experiences provided a foundational understanding of the stresses and tension we carry when we use our bodies in specific ways day in and day out. Dyad Yoga strives to help you understand the tension you carry and learn how to release it so that you can choose how you use your body, ultimately telling the story that you want to tell.
